National Writers Series with Mitch Albom

The National Writers Series is a year-round book festival that brings best-selling authors to Traverse City, sometimes virtually and sometimes to the City Opera House.  We've been doing this for 10 years!  In fact, we have hosted more than 170 authors, including Daniel Pink, Sebastian Junger, Margaret Atwood, and Alice Walker.  With COVID-19, you can now watch our events virtually and for FREE!  Just go to www.nationalwritersseries.org.

National Writers Series

The National Writers Series is also committed to actively "raising writers" with programs that help students express themselves, explore the world, develop their imaginations, and to think critically.
