Elves tall and small are invited to take part in the 2nd Annual Christmas Miracle Mile/Ugly Sweater Dash on Saturday, December 21, at the Cherry Republic campus in Glen Arbor.
The fun run/walk kicks off at 11 a.m. on Lake Street in front of the Cherry Public House. Participants are encouraged to dress in their most festive holiday sweaters and warm-weather gear. Registration starts at 10:30 a.m. The mile-long race includes a half-mile run to and from the Cherry Public House, followed by a quick warm-up stop for either a pint of beer or mug of hot cherry cocoa, and finishing with another half-mile run ending at the Public House.
Cost is $20 for adults and $10 for kids under 12. Kids under age six are free. Cherry Republic swag will be awarded to all participants, with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers receiving a Cherry Republic prize.
