Wine on the Water Festival

The Leelanau Peninsula Chamber of Commerce

Wine on the Water Festival

Marina Park - Downtown Suttons Bay
1:00-7:00 pm

Saturday, July 20, 2013

The festival will feature tastes from local wineries, distilleries, and breweries, delicious food from Leelanau Peninsula’s restaurants, art by talented area vendors, and live music from some of Michigan’s top entertainment. Tickets are $15, which includes a commemorative wine glass and two tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets may be purchased at the event for $2 each. Ticket sales and additional tasting purchases all benefit the Leelanau Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.

The Leelanau Peninsula Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to enhance the economic well being of tourism, business, industry, agriculture and the arts, while striving to preserve the amenities of the Leelanau Peninsula. The Chamber also acts as the Visitor Information Center for Leelanau County providing visitors, residents and individuals interested in relocating their home or business with any information they may need.

The Wine on the Water Festival may have a new name and logo, but this festival fundraiser has been around for years. The festival started off as the “Annual Northport Wine Fest” and was located in the Northport Area. It then changed names and locations and found a new home in Suttons Bay as the Leelanau Peninsula Wine, Food & Music Festival. We are keeping the location, but changing the name and logo to what we feel represents the best of the Leelanau Peninsula: our impressive array of wineries & vineyards and our gorgeous waterfronts.
