2nd Annual Leelanau Showcase...a Business Expo
Completely consumer focused, the Leelanau Showcase - Business Expo presents both retail and service business in a convenient consumer format, both inside and outside the Strongheart Center. The showcase opens at 11 a.m. with a traditional drum ceremony performed by members of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians in front of Strongheart Center.
The traditional drum ceremony is just the beginning of a day filled with entertainment, door prizes, free food and great information on the wide array of businesses that serve Leelanau County residents.
Approximately eight food providers will be on hand to provide tastes of their products including regional specialties, truffles and coffee.
Expo visitors will also enjoy the opportunity to win door prizes throughout the day, special prizes from participating businesses as well as enjoy the entertaining talents of local performers. At 4:30 p.m. there will be special performance of World Champion Hoop Dancers.
Whether you're buying a home or building a home, looking for a cell phone provider, bank, lawyer, investment advisor, vacation rental or seeking out consumer goods like neutraceuticals, coffee, insurance, or wine or want to find out more about local non-profit organizations or services, the Leelanau Showcase - Business Expo will provide you information you need about Leelanau's premier businesses.
The Leelanau Showcase - Business Expo is free and open to the public from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 10.
