The site features a dynamic online membership directory, visitor information, community information and event listings. Visitors can search for businesses by name, location or business type. They can also conduct a radius-based search from a specific zip code. Current accommodations availabity are listed directly on the Accommodations page. A new Birding page and Hiking Leelanau page has been added.
A key component of the new site is improved Member Management. Members will soon be receiving login information so that they can access and update their business information at any time. This feature will keep the member information as accurate and up to date as possible for site visitors. The addition of online payment processing allows site visitors to join or renew their memberships or register for paid events online as well.
